Prayagraj. The four-day meeting of RSS Akhil Bhartiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) began in Prayagraj here on Sunday. Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale Ji inaugurated the meeting with “Pushpanjali” to Bharat Mata. The four-day ABKM meeting will conclude on October 19.
All the Prant Sanghchalaks, Karyavah and Pracharaks of all 45 prants and 11 Kshetras (zones) of the Sangh along with their deputy functionaries are participating in the annual meet. The expected number of delegates for this annual meet is 377 and most of them were reported to have been attending the proceedings.
In the beginning, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale Ji welcomed all the delegates participating in the meeting. Thereafter the RSS functionaries condoled the deaths of prominent personalities including Parampujya Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth Swami Swaroopanand Ji Maharaj, Panchpeethadhishwar Acharya Dharmendra Ji, retired chief Justice RC Lahoti, Comedian Raju Srivastava, industrialist Cyrus Mistri, Archaeologist BB Lal and Samajwadi leader Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The meeting will discuss the plans to expand the number of its Shakha places across the country to mark the centenary year of the Sangh and other current issues. Besides, the points which were figured by the Sarsanghchalak in his speech on the occasion of Vijayadashami will also be discussed. These points included population imbalance, education in the mother tongue, social harmony, etc. The meeting will also review the progress of ongoing programs related to the environment and Parivar Prabodhan (family awakening).
