Muslim netizens criticize former minister Naqvi for celebrating Diwali

Some Muslim netizens criticized Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, a former Union Cabinet Minister, over his Diwali celebration. Mr. Naqvi posted pictures of the Diwali celebration on his social media account and greeted people on occasion. However, Muslims opposed him; some called him Kafir while some Muslims threatened him in Allah's name.

Mr. Naqvi has been criticized for being Muslim. Some Muslims wrote in the comment box that worshipping other than Allah is forbidden in Islam. Muslim fanatics wrote many hateful comments also. Some shared religious texts also.
 
However, many Hindu netizens appreciated and greeted Mr. Naqvi.
