Bhagyanagar.
Outskirts of Bhagyanagar City in Changicherla Village near Cherlapally while Hindu families were celebrating Holi, Muslim mob attacked mercilessly, including women and one of them was a pregnant lady who seems to be in critical condition.
Hindus have made preparations to celebrate Holi in nearby Goat Mandi (Market) with Bakti songs in the background, for which Muslims took objection and locals allege that a mob of 500 Muslims attacked them. When locals along with women tried to stop them, they attacked mercilessly and ended up gravely injuring a pregnant woman too along with scores of others.
Police rushed to the spot as they received information and tried to get control of the situation, meanwhile when the information spread to Hindu Organisations and leader’s they reached the scene and demanded that the perpetrators be arrested and punished with stringent laws.
The seriously injured Pregnant lady is admitted in Gandhi Hospital.
